(Patria) - Prosecutor Jasminka Knežević of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was providing confidential information to individuals from the criminal milieu, Istraga.ba has learned.
It was precisely because of this that members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton searched her office. The operation was carried out under the orders of POSKOK.
According to Istraga.ba's information, Prosecutor Knežević was providing confidential information to a Sarajevo resident who admitted his cooperation with the prosecutor to the police.
Prosecutor Jasminka Knežević was not arrested, but proceedings for her suspension will be initiated. She was appointed to the position of prosecutor at the initiative of the former Vice-President of the HJPC BiH, Ružica Jukić.
According to Istraga.ba's information, she also cooperated with the criminal group of Admir Arnautović Šmrk.
Prosecutor Knežević provided information that the OSA BiH had delivered to the prosecutor's office regarding Šmrk to individuals who admitted to breaking the law.
