SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Members of the Federal Police Administration will join the search for the missing Hamid Ferhatović from Gornji Čuništa near Olovo starting tomorrow, Patria has learned.
We remind you that Ferhatović disappeared on May 30 and his family has been searching for any information since then. The Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton has sent Hamid's axe, found in the woods, for expert examination, but the report on the results is not yet available.
The family of the missing person, dissatisfied with the actions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of ZDC and the Olovo Police Department, requested the involvement of the FUP in the search, as well as an investigation into what happened to Ferhatović.
We remind you that the family suspects that a neighbor, a retired criminal inspector, has more information about Hamid Ferhatović's disappearance but is unwilling to share it, and that the Olovo Police Department, i.e., the Ministry of Internal Affairs of ZDC, is acting sloppily in that segment. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of ZDC issued a statement last week urging citizens not to fall for rumors. The Prosecutor's Office of ZDC told the Patria agency that it is taking all measures and actions to resolve this case.
During the visit of the reporting team to Hamid Ferhatović's family, we were told that the involvement of the FUP gives them hope, as they are not satisfied with what has been done.
Patria agency, we remind you, published a report on the entire case on Saturday, which you can watch HERE
