Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton proposed one-month detention for Adem Šuman, suspected of murdering Faris Pendek

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has proposed to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo to order a one-month detention for the suspect Adem Šuman for the criminal offense of murder committed with reckless and violent behavior.

In a statement from the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, it is stated that detention was proposed due to the risk of flight, then due to the risk that, if at large, he could influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and due to the risk that the suspect's presence at large could cause public disturbance.

"A one-month detention has also been proposed for Mersim Saljević and Elmedin Gradišić for the same reasons. They are suspected of the criminal offense of aiding the perpetrator after the commission of the criminal offense," the statement reads.

We remind you, around 11:35 PM on January 28, at the intersection of VII Transferzale Street and Bulevar Meše Selimovića, a firearm was used, resulting in the death of Faris Pendek (born 2005) from sustained injuries.
