(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proposed in the indictment that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, be imposed a measure banning him from performing the function of president of this BiH entity and a ban on performing any public function in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code of BiH.
In the text of the indictment, which was reported by media in Republika Srpska, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH proposes for Dodik the termination of performing the function of President of Republika Srpska, and for the acting director of the "Official Gazette of Republika Srpska", Miloš Lukić, the termination of performing the function of director of the "Official Gazette of Republika Srpska" for a period of 10 years.
According to the indictment, "the first suspect Dodik and the second suspect Lukić, as officials in institutions of Republika Srpska, committed the criminal offense of non-execution of the decision of the High Representative."
The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina also proposes that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina determine for Dodik and Lukić the occurrence of legal consequences of the conviction.
This implies, as stated, the termination of official duty and termination of employment, a ban on performing official duty in the legislative, executive, judicial, administrative or any body that is fully or partially financed from public funds, and a ban on acquiring official duty in the legislative, executive, judicial, administrative or any body that is fully or partially financed from public funds.
According to the indictment, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH believes that Dodik, by signing the Decree on the promulgation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations in Republika Srpska, as well as the Decree on the promulgation of the Law on Non-Application of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, knowingly violated the decisions of the High Representative, although he "was aware that these decisions are binding in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the powers granted to him by Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement."
The indictment states that Lukić enabled the publication of the aforementioned decrees.
