Tuka: Athletes must know what awaits them after success

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić and Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanović received Bosnian-Herzegovinian athlete Amel Tuka and the President of the Athletics Federation of BiH Suad Kaknja in Sarajevo, reports the Patria News Agency.

The best BiH athlete expressed his gratitude for today's reception, and said he is particularly pleased that some things are changing in BiH sports as well.

- I think BiH sports deserve these changes, and I am glad that I am one of those who initiated the changes. Top sports results achieved by some national teams are a call to change this situation because our youth deserve it. We who are role models for young people should be good ambassadors of our homeland, and they should look up to us, follow our path, fight and love their homeland. However, when they achieve a top result, they should know what awaits them - emphasized Tuka.

Zvizdić said that this success raises hope that athletics, as well as all other sports, will return to the European and world stage.

- Tuka shared his impressions not only from the World Championship but also from other competitions - said Zvizdić.

Minister of Civil Affairs Adil Osmanović stated that the state must do more for athletes and allocate more financial resources.
