SADNESS IN GRAZ BiH FLAG AT HALF-MAST

(Patrai) - Following the horrific massacre that shook the Austrian city of Graz, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Austria, Siniša Bencun, confirmed that there were no BiH citizens among the victims.

"As confirmed by the Austrian police this morning, there are no citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina among those killed in Graz," stated Ambassador Bencun.

However, unofficial information indicates that two young people of BiH origin were among the victims, while at least one person of BiH origin was injured in this tragic event.

Ambassador Bencun expressed his deepest condolences to the families of all the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

"We express our sincere condolences to the families of all the victims, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery," said the ambassador.

In a sign of solidarity with the affected communities, the flag at the BiH Embassy in Vienna was lowered to half-mast during the declared mourning period. Additionally, the consular department of the embassy briefly suspended operations this morning at 10 AM.

The massacre in Graz has caused shock and sadness throughout Austria and beyond, as local authorities continue to investigate the motives behind the attack. The BiH Embassy in Austria remains in contact with Austrian authorities to provide support to BiH citizens and their families.
