Trump tells Iran it is time to reach a deal

(Patria) - US President Donald Trump said that talks with Iran have not stopped despite Tehran's claims that the exchange of messages has been suspended, adding that he said it is time for a deal.

"Reports of fake news that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the US stopped talking several days ago are false and incorrect," Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social platform.

Trump said that talks are ongoing, "including four days ago, three days ago, two days ago, one day ago and today," Al Arabiya reported.

 "Where they lead, one never knows, but as I told Iran: 'It is time, one way or another, for you to make a deal. You have been doing this for 47 years and it must not be allowed to continue any longer!'"
