Triple murderer from Sanski Most remained silent

(Patria) - Triple murderer from Sanski Most Mehemed Vukalić remained silent yesterday at the Una-Sana Canton Prosecutor's Office.

We learn that the motive for the triple murder is still not known with certainty because the murderer refuses any cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office.

Vukalić, who was brought from UKC RS to the MUP USK the day before yesterday, where he was then arrested, did not present any defense to the Prosecutor's Office's allegations, which accuse him of aggravated murder.

We remind you that the deranged caretaker Vukalić killed three people two weeks ago at the Mixed Secondary School in Sanski Most with an automatic rifle.

The victims were the director of this educational institution Nijaz Halilović, who was an SDP councilor in Sanski Most, English teacher Gordana Midžan, and school secretary Nisveta Kljunić.

After committing the murders, Vukalić also attempted suicide. He inflicted severe injuries on himself, which is why he was hospitalized at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.

Vukalić fired more than 10 shots from an automatic rifle. Six shell casings were found in the office of the murdered director.

At the proposal of the Prosecutor's Office, a detention hearing will be held today at the Cantonal Court in Bihać.
