(Patria) - Ahead of the urgent session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM, representatives received an initiative for the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH, i.e., the dismissal of two state ministers Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić. The request was signed by representatives of the Trojka parties and Aida Baručija. The session was called based on a proposal from the SNSD Club to appoint Branislav Borenović as the second deputy chair of the House. Today, the first joint session of both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and the Council of Ministers of BiH was not held because SNSD representatives did not attend, and then SNSD delegates left the session, breaking the quorum.
The Trojka parties also issued a joint statement.
"Following recently held meetings of the leaders and state representatives of the Trojka, at which the strategy of these parties for preserving peace and the European path of BiH was considered, full agreement was reached on the need to firmly oppose attacks on the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, actors whose activities represent a security challenge and danger to peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and block the functioning of institutions and the process of our country's accession to the European Union.
In this regard, it was noted that the SNSD, led by Milorad Dodik, through unconstitutional actions undermines the peace and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, and that attempts to block the European path by representatives of this party have violated the coalition agreement, which primarily entails the adoption of European laws and a series of decisions of the Council of Ministers that ensure a major step forward on the European path, in the interest of all citizens of our country.
In all of the above, representatives of the SNSD in the Council of Ministers played a significant role: Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac and Minister of Finance and Treasury Srđan Amidžić. For these reasons, the deputies of the Trojka parties have initiated the dismissal of ministers Košarac and Amidžić.
In this complex and challenging moment for the state and all its citizens, we call on all political and social actors to join us in protecting the peace and European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the statement said.
