(Patria) - Belmin Zukan (SDP BiH) has scheduled a session of the Legislative and Legal Committee of the House of Representatives of the Federation of BiH for today. The agenda includes amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of FBiH. By amending the Rules of Procedure, the Trojka and HDZ are trying to create preconditions for the appointment of Marin Vukoje (HDZ) as a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
We remind that, according to these Rules of Procedure, missing positions in working bodies would be co-opted, meaning replacements who entered parliamentary benches would automatically become members of working bodies.
Several earlier attempts to hold sessions of the Legislative and Legal Committee ended in failure, as the opposition opposes these Rules of Procedure for several reasons.
Besides the co-optation of members of working bodies, it also contains several undemocratic and unparliamentary restrictions on deputies, which is certainly a blow to the opposition but also to the right of deputies to perform their work.
