Troika and HDZ attempt to derogate the Rules of Procedure with a conclusion, Marko Cvitanović (NS) caused an incident during the debate

(Patria) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Mladen Bošković proposed a Conclusion according to which the disputed authorization given by Speaker Mirjana Marinković Lepić would have a basis, because the House's Rules of Procedure cannot foresee all circumstances in the House's work. Circumstances in the form of a "health problem".

The head of the DF Club, Mahir Mešalić, reacted: “So what are you doing this for”..

“This is not good for the citizens of the Federation, to violate procedures in this way is unacceptable. I must react to this, because this is a long-term erosion of the Parliament and institutions of the Federation. You cannot regulate the Rules of Procedure with a Conclusion. With a Conclusion, you want to say that the Rules of Procedure do not apply, but rather what Mladen Bošković says. Citizens need to see how democracy is being mocked. Someone made sacrifices to develop democracy here,” Mešalić stated.

During Mešalić's address, someone from the parliamentary benches started shouting “what are you talking about”. This was Marko Cvitanović from Our Party, who shouted “what are you talking about, what are you talking about” several times, and some deputies testify that he even threatened.

Cvitanović shouted at Mešalić while the head of the DF Club was speaking

We remind you, this is the second incident in this term involving deputies from Our Party. Earlier, Damir Nikšić said that talking about a civic state and the UZP is unconstitutional, and it is a justified question whether both Nikšić and Cvitanović belong in the representative body if they are against the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the continuation of the debate, Mirza Čelik (DF) asked that other options be considered, because what Bošković proposed is not good.

The head of the SBiH Club, Admir Čavalić, believes that the conclusion would create a serious precedent that undermines the institutions of Parliament.

“I think that is the wrong path. I did not receive this proposal for a conclusion, I would ask that you submit it in writing, and that is one of the reasons why a break should be taken, and perhaps it is not felt from below, because the atmosphere is not the best, so that deputies can calm down a bit. And one well-intentioned advice, citizens expect us to speak, I would ask all colleagues not to take the discussion personally,” Čavalić stated.

Eldar Čomor (SDA) said that they are talking about Article 3 of the Rules of Procedure, which Bošković cites in proposing the Conclusion. “With a conclusion, you are trying to change the Rules of Procedure, that is not good,” Čomor stated.

A break is underway, given to calm tensions a bit.
