(Patria) - The agenda for the session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, scheduled for May 28, is at best ridiculous, as all items are subordinate to the appointment of Marin Vuiko as a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
This was stated in an interview for the Patria News Agency by the federal representative and member of the Election and Appointment Committee, Eldar Čomor (SDA).
- There is nothing significant there except for the item concerning elections and appointments, which is why the session was convened in the first place. Mladen Bošković is essentially sending a message to his partners from the 'Trojka' in this way - if you do not support Marin Vuiko, then none of the appointments that are in your interest will pass either - Čomor points out.
The 'Trojka' members, along with HDZ BiH, our interlocutor adds, did everything at previous sessions of the House of Representatives to remove all potential obstacles in the Election and Appointment Committee, thereby paving the way for the appointment of Marin Vuiko.
- They did this by violating both the Rules of Procedure and the Constitution, inventing some conclusions at the sessions themselves in order to reach a position where they could amend the Rules of Procedure and the quorum for work in the committees themselves. They did all this in the past few months to reach a position where they would have a smooth passage for their proposals in the Election and Appointment Committee itself.
And the last time they dismissed Dajana Čolić and Edina Gabela. If the votes in the Committee itself were counted, they did not need to do that, because the existing seven were enough for them even then. However, it seems that certain things were not functioning within the Committee itself, so it was necessary to dismiss both of them and bring in new members who will listen to the HDZ instead.
The 'Trojka' and HDZ have enough votes, and I think that unfortunately, the 'Trojka' will, in this way, fulfill that task assigned to them by Dragan Čović and HDZ/HNS - Čomor assesses.
He also touched upon the fact that for many months, the sessions of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament have been convened and led by Mladen Bošković from HDZ BiH, even though he is actually the deputy speaker by function.
- When he saw that Mirjana Marinković Lepić was not conducting and convening sessions in the way HDZ BiH wanted, Bošković took over the presidency from her, bypassing the Rules of Procedure and the Constitution. And he will stop leading the Parliament the moment the election of the judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH is completed.
That is the task he received from HDZ and HNS. And his success depends exclusively on the support of the 'Trojka' in the FBiH Parliament. One of the betrayals committed by the 'Trojka' is precisely enabling Bošković to lead the sessions, and this is a purely political appointment of Vuiko - Čomor emphasizes.
He denied numerous media reports that the expert commission elected Marin Vuiko. That is not true, Čomor points out. It is a political body - a working group appointed by the Election and Appointment Committee, of which, incidentally, Mladen Bošković is the president.
After handing over the position of judge in the Constitutional Court of BiH to the HDZ, Čomor believes that there will be a certain lull in further concessions by the 'Trojka' to their partners. And then, he adds, their mutual relationship after the Local Elections will continue, perhaps with even greater intensity.
Čomor warns that the 'Trojka' members will continue to undermine the public RTV service, primarily in the FBiH. And they have already started doing so, he adds, in a way, together with HDZ and SNSD through the Management Board of BHRT, with the recent shutdown of Federal Television's program.
