(Patria) - Suspects Nađa Milišić, Adis Mulaosmanović, and Edina Džigal, who were arrested as part of the Incitat operation, have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office.
They will be detained for 24 hours, and within that legal period, the acting prosecutor will decide on further measures against the suspects, the KS Prosecutor's Office announced.
Suspect Ibro Berilo, the mayor of Trnovo municipality, is still at KCUS and is formally expected to be handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office around noon.
All suspects are charged with the criminal offense of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, specifically abuse of position and authority, and money laundering. This concerns a case of systemic corruption in the construction sector and money laundering.
Yesterday, the premises of the Trnovo Municipality, the Aroma facility on Bjelašnica, and the private apartments and houses of the suspects were searched.
Berilo was questioned last night at KCUS, where he is hospitalized, and he will be formally handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office around noon.
In practice, this means that instead of SIPA officers, a court police officer will be assigned to him to provide security.
If an arrest warrant is eventually requested for him, the hearing could be organized at the hospital, in the presence of a lawyer, prosecutor, judge for preliminary proceedings, and a court clerk. Procedurally, the decision on this is made by the competent court.
We remind you that former director of Sarajevošume, Nermin Demirović, is also suspected in this case. He is currently abroad and will report to SIPA upon his return.
