Three epidemiologists in USK working on cluster control

(Patria) - Mustafa Ružnić, Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton and Commander of the Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters, held a meeting today in Bihać with members of the Crisis Headquarters of the Ministry of Health and
directors of healthcare institutions from the Una-Sana Canton.

"Healthcare is a priority at this moment while the whole world is fighting to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We are reallocating all available resources for the procurement of medical equipment. I ask you to protect both healthcare workers and every patient. I ask that a way be found to test as many people as possible. I demand that municipal/city civil protection headquarters make themselves available to health centers, which are the first line of defense for the health of our citizens," said Ružnić.

Minister of Health Nermina Ćemalović, together with her doctor colleagues and directors of healthcare institutions, established strict procedures and stated that epidemiologists, of whom there are three in USK, are working on cluster control.

"I am telling the citizens to be patient and to respect preventive measures, to protect their health and thus public health," said Dr. Ćemalović.
