(Patria) - There will be no discussion on fiscal reform today in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, as there was not enough support from MPs for the agenda with only one item.
Almedin Aliefendić initiated the thematic discussion with the support of his colleagues, but only 61 out of 98 MPs attended today's session before the vote on the agenda, so only 39 MPs voted for the agenda, mostly from the opposition, but some from the ruling coalition also supported it.
However, although a quorum existed, part of the coalition majority was against the agenda (12), while 10 were abstained.
Thus, the discussion on suggestions, conclusions, and proposals on how to improve fiscal reform in the FBiH has been postponed to another time, probably when the MPs who ignored today's session or were against the agenda assess that it is a favorable opportunity for gaining political points.
Until then, the imposed Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and his team will wander through the wilderness of secret plans against which the general, but not the parliamentary, public is opposed.
In short, fiscal reform will be discussed when it benefits politics, not citizens!
