
An armed clash occurred in Visoko today in which one person was injured, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The ZDK Ministry of Interior confirmed that a 27-year-old young man was wounded, with his opponent firing five bullets into his legs.
This is the third armed clash in Visoko in the last seven days. The municipal mayor of Visoko, Amra Babić, recently requested at an emergency press conference from the Ministry of Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton more police officers for this municipality and the urgent introduction of video surveillance on city streets, as the security situation in Visoko is compromised.
In just one hour in Visoko seven days ago, two shootings occurred, in which two people were wounded.
- The security situation for people's lives and property safety in Visoko is largely compromised – said Babić. She called on all competent police structures to urgently undertake activities of enhanced surveillance in this municipality, reports NAP.
