Third letter from true SDP members: 'We continue responsible' nepotism, comrade communists!

(Patria) - Novinska agencija Patria has received a third open letter signed by true members of the Social Democratic Party of BiH. In this letter, they address the Municipal Organization of SDP Novi Grad Sarajevo, as well as the employment of SDP members' families in the public sector in Sarajevo Canton.

We are publishing the letter from the SDP members in its entirety.

"Nothing can disappoint a person more than when someone looks you straight in the eye and deceives you, and you know that person is lying.

Such is the situation in SDP Novi Grad Sarajevo. The election campaign slogan 'We continue responsibly' sounds ridiculous (if it weren't sad) when it comes to these social democrats. When we analyze the election list with which the Municipal Organization SDP Novi Grad Sarajevo presented itself to its voters and what it offered as an option to gain their vote, those who know better can find all sorts of things on the list.

As it is customary to start from the beginning, so shall we. The list leader, Abel Baltić, according to reliable sources, said at one of the meetings that 'they must have a positive campaign.' As if, until now, the election campaigns of this SDP municipal organization have not been positive (whatever that means), so he will change that now. The fact that this same Abel Baltić is marked by numerous tender scandals, the legendary recording published by the portal Istraga titled 'God cannot help you, only Abel can!', concerning employment at the Sarajevo Canton Health Center while the said person was the director of this public institution, and at the same time a councilor in Novi Grad, to the usurpation of a large part of the advertising space in the municipality of Novi Grad for his own promotion for these elections, which raises the logical question: who can afford such funds for this nowadays? Abel Baltić clearly can. Nothing but positive.

Selma Alić is also on the election list. Selma is the sister of KS Assembly representative Belma Kapo, who, incidentally, is the list leader in the Municipality of Centar, and who, according to some SDP members, appeared literally out of nowhere and overnight became number two on the list. While Abel Baltić was the director of the JU Dom zdravlja KS in 2020, comrade Belma Kapo was employed in this institution, and then in 2022 she employed her sister Selma, and in April 2024, Selma's husband also got a job here as an ambulance driver.

Of course, all this is happening during Abel Baltić's term, who insists on a positive campaign. In the meantime, Belma Kapo's husband will be appointed president of the Supervisory Board of Službeni list BiH with earnings over 2000 KM.

At number 17 is Amer Mudželet, executive director at KJKP Park, whose wife is a member of the KS Tourist Board, while at number 19 is Damir Kreso, who was first appointed president of the Supervisory Board and then appointed director of Terminali FBiH. At number 20 is Sanjin Saračević, director of the MUP ambulance service. Enid Tahirović, who is positioned at number 22, is an advisor in the KS Ministry of Culture and Sports and manager of the Emiran hotel. We can only guess comrade Tahirović's earnings.

Ženja Ljubuškić, at number 24, was initially appointed president of the Supervisory Board of EP BiH, but after not meeting the requirements for this position, as he is a political scientist by profession, he was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of Lutrija BiH.

The head of the election staff of the Municipal Organization Novi Grad Sarajevo, Dino Selimović, who is at number 34, has been appointed president of the Supervisory Board of JU Dom zdravlja KS. Incidentally, Selimović is a traffic engineer with no prior experience in healthcare, but that did not prevent Baltić, Štete, the Hadžić couple, and their team from placing him at the head of the Supervisory Board of this most important healthcare institution in KS. Dino and his wife work at Sarajevo Airport.

Nermin Bojčić, a firefighter by profession, after obtaining a degree in occupational safety engineering in Novi Sad, is on the election list under number 35. Bojčić was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Ceste FBiH (earnings over 2500 KM), and he also managed to secure a promotion for his brother-in-law to the administrative sector in the public company Autoceste FBiH, where he is employed.

The extent of the destruction and degradation of the reputation of SDP's Municipal Organization Novi Grad Sarajevo, which achieved by far the best electoral result of all SDP organizations in KS in the last General Elections, is also evidenced by the fact that out of the required 318 observers for these local elections, this Municipal Organization registered a total of 36 observers. Simply, members do not want to sign up. For comparison, in the previous General Elections, 400 members of this organization expressed a desire to be observers, and in the end, 320 of them ended up on the list, meaning that the SDP then had two observers at every polling station!

These facts should not surprise anyone, because the list leader Abel Baltić, as a non-statutory president, and with the tacit approval of Adnan Štete and Nermin Nikšić, settled accounts with his opponents and eliminated six members of this Municipal Organization who were a direct threat to him by making a non-statutory decision and expelling them from membership, thereby preventing them from participating in these elections. The expelled members appealed this decision to the Statutory Committee, which has never commented on this matter. Is the SDP Statute also suspended, Mr. President Nikšić?

In any case, it will be interesting to follow the rest of the election campaign as well as the developments within this SDP organization, because according to insider information, there is great nervousness within the election staff, and in the last few days, tensions have also risen among the members themselves. This confirms the old saying:

'You can do as you wish, but you won't do as much as you want,' meaning you can do it until October 6th, after that you won't be able to, Abel. Very positive.
