Third Olympiad of Projects from 45 High Schools in BiH

The third Burch Olympiad of Projects is being held today at the university campus in Ilidža. In addition to the Rector of Burch University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Uzunoglu, the participants will also be addressed by the Federal Minister of Education and Science Damir Mašić and the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality Senaid Memić, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

This year, 45 high schools from BiH will present their projects and compete in four areas: engineering, web design, environment, and I have an idea.

Out of 103 projects, a large number address current issues. The students have made an effort to offer innovative solutions, and Burch University will reward the best with cash prizes and the opportunity to win scholarships for study, Patria reports.

Today, the presentation and evaluation of projects by an expert jury, composed of university professors and industry experts, is scheduled.

In addition to students, awards are also provided for mentor professors, and the overall organization of the Burch Olympiad aims to encourage young people to take action and provide them with an opportunity to win valuable prizes while having fun. The project is also supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science.
