Travnik: May 9th Marked with Music, Unity, and Enduring Values

(Patria) - Travnik dignifiedly marked May 9th - Victory over Fascism Day, the date that signifies the end of World War II in Europe in 1945 and remains a lasting reminder of the values that shaped modern society.

Organized by SABNOR SBK, a large number of citizens of all generations gathered on the plateau in front of the Travnik Native Museum, giving special significance to the commemoration of this date with their joint presence.

The evening began in a festive atmosphere, and Tijana Dapčević opened the concert with the song "Everything is the Same, Only He is Gone," symbolically marking the start of the program and establishing an emotional tone that accompanied the entire evening.

During the event, it was evident that young and old, families and individuals shared the space, united by a common experience. It was precisely this image of Travnik, where different generations stand together, that gave special value to the commemoration.

A clear message was sent from Travnik that the awareness of the significance of this date lives on among young and older generations, and that the idea of resistance to fascism has not remained merely a part of history, but also a value that is passed down today – through shared memory, presence, and responsibility towards the future.

The commemoration of May 9th in Travnik once again confirmed the importance of gathering together and nurturing historical values through content that connects people and generations.
