Several photos were posted on the Facebook page Dobrinjska inicijativa, sent by concerned citizens from Hajrudina Šabanije Street, who will be literally cut off from accessing their building entrances by the construction of the A transfer route (Sarajevo Airport - Mojmilo), reports the BH News Agency Patria.
The construction of this 1,800-meter-long road began in early September, and as Adem Zolj, director of the Public Roads Directorate of Sarajevo Canton, stated at the time, the A transfer route will represent a boulevard with wide sidewalks and poles with a green belt.
- A water supply and sewage network and lighting will also be installed along the road, and a modern roundabout will be introduced in Mojmilo below the Children's Village - Zolj explained.
Semir Efendić, the mayor of Novi Grad Municipality, stated that there are certain problems regarding property-legal relations, given that land expropriation was carried out in the 1970s, but he said that the works can begin despite this.
Otherwise, according to the project, this road should have two lanes in each direction, each 3.5 meters wide, a bicycle path, and a separating green belt.
However, residents of the buildings in front of which the transfer route will pass at a distance of literally one meter are wondering how they will be able to drive to their buildings, or how ambulances or fire trucks will be able to access them.
