Tram traffic interrupted due to death of a passenger

A passenger died in a tram travelling on the Ilidža-Baščaršija route in the Dolac Malta settlement, and tram traffic was interrupted due to the investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, writes the BH News Agency Patria. Trams started operating around 4 PM.

- At 2:40 PM, we received a report from the Emergency Medical Service about this event, and at 3:20 PM, the passenger's death was confirmed. An investigation is underway - said the Operational Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.

The Emergency Medical Service confirmed to the Patria agency that resuscitation was performed, but it was unsuccessful, and they could only confirm the passenger's death. The Emergency Medical Service team is still on the scene.

It is not known when the investigation will be completed.
