(Patria) - A serious accident occurred near Ilijaš on Saturday at 4:30 PM, in which the driver of a Seat died.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the accident happened in the village of Luka, municipality of Ilijaš.
At that time, the car veered off the right side of the road and hit a bridge railing, then a concrete retaining wall.
The passenger vehicle, a Seat, was driven by a driver identified as I. R. (21) from Ilijaš.
"The driver of the Seat vehicle died on the same day while being transported and receiving medical assistance in a Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service vehicle. The duty Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor was informed about the incident," the statement said.
An investigation was conducted by the investigation team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
