(Patria) - Members of the Brčko Civil Protection and the Nemo Diving Club have been searching since this morning for a man who drowned in the Sava River around 10 PM last night.
According to information from the scene, the 45-year-old man drowned in the river near the Water Factory in the settlement of Plazulje near Brčko.
Rescue teams have been at the accident site since this morning, searching the area with sonar.
The Nemo Diving Club stated that they managed to locate the body with sonar at a depth of over eight meters, but due to reduced visibility and silt, they have not yet reached it.
Unofficially, the man who drowned is Nermin M. from Brčko.
