Hot meal allowance in BiH institutions increased by 1 KM

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an emergency telephone session, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, adopted a Decision on the amount of cash compensation for employees in BiH institutions for meals during work, in accordance with the Law on Salaries and Allowances in BiH Institutions and the Collective Agreement for employees in BiH institutions.

According to the Decision, an employee in a BiH institution is entitled to cash compensation for meals during work in the amount of two percent of the base for salary calculation applied to the employee in the month for which the compensation is calculated, for each day spent at work.

The Decision will apply from July 1, 2025, when the hot meal allowance for employees in BiH institutions will increase by one KM for each day spent at work, and will amount to 12 KM instead of the previous 11 KM.
