Toplane-Sarajevo: Bills for May will not be increased despite extended heating season

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo bills for May will not be increased even though the heating season continued in May due to low air temperatures. 

Head of the Cabinet of the Director of KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo, Ženja Ljubuškić, explains that according to the tariff system adopted by the KS Government in 2016, only the fixed part will be invoiced for May for all premises without individual heat consumption meters. KJKP Toplane's system has almost 54,000 users, of which about 4,500 have installed consumption meters.

“Those with installed meters will have consumption calculated based on readings added to the fixed part,” says Ljubuškić.

For all other users of KJKP Toplane-Sarajevo, bills for May will be issued only for the fixed part. For example, users of apartments of 67 square meters, instead of the 141 KM they pay during the winter period (October-April), will pay 42 KM from May to October.
