Toplane-Sarajevo to start supplying thermal energy from the afternoon

(Patria) - As the official weather forecast of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute predicts lower outdoor air temperatures in the morning and evening hours in the coming days, in order to act in a timely manner and satisfy users, the KJKP "Toplane-Sarajevo" d.o.o. heating system will be operational this afternoon, and we will begin supplying thermal energy to the citizens of Sarajevo Canton.

The Decree on General Conditions for the Production, Supply, and Use of Thermal Energy prescribes a daily heating regime from 06:00 to 22:00, depending on the outdoor air temperature.

In the previous period, outside the heating season, a series of activities were undertaken for the regular and preventive maintenance of the heating systems, as well as for the reconstruction of certain heating systems or parts of the system, all with the aim of better preparedness for the 2024/2025 heating season.

As the final technical check of the entire system before the upcoming heating season, a functional test of the central heating system was performed, and all thermal energy production and distribution facilities are fully prepared for normal operation in the upcoming heating season.
