Toni Nadal to arrive in Sarajevo on Friday, lecturer at tennis coaches' course

Huge interest surrounds the  three-day training for professional tennis coaches, which begins in Sarajevo on Friday, September 29, organized by the Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association (GPTCA) and the Tennis Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports Patria News Agency.

Around 80 tennis coaches will attend lectures given by Toni Nadal, coach of world number one Rafael Nadal, GPTCA President Alberto Castellani, and Argentinian expert Patricio Remondeugui.

- Besides participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, coaches from Iran, Latvia, Austria, Italy, Tunisia, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia are coming - says Ismar Gorčić, GPTCA President for Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminding that a certificate with an ATP stamp can only be obtained at these courses.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of 40 countries where this training takes place, and the plan for next year is to organize a course for coach-psychologists:

- I hope our coaches will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to pass on to players, and with the help of the Tennis Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I will work to ensure that GPTCA courses of various levels are held in Bosnia and Herzegovina more often - says Ismar Gorčić.

The Tennis Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed an agreement with GPTCA to jointly enable better training for tennis coaches from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to raise standards in a sport that is increasingly popular in our country.
