International community acted hypocritically during protests in Sarajevo

Salko Sokolović, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, told the BiH news agency Patria that the statements by Valentin Inzko, the High Representative of the international community in BiH, were hypocritical when he said that there were no attacks on the state during protests in Sarajevo and other cities in BiH.

Furthermore, Sokolović stated that the investigation into the perpetrators and masterminds of the attacks and destruction of state symbols on February 7 in Sarajevo is proceeding very slowly, and that the Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radončić, and those under his command must provide the public with a report on the events during the first days of the demonstrations as soon as possible.

- If the state symbols of any other country had been attacked, we would have had detailed reports by now on who did it and who ordered it. Unfortunately, when it comes to BiH, an attempt is being made to steer the narrative in a different direction – Sokolović told NAP.

Sokolović says that the citizens' rebellion in BiH is justified and stems from the poor social situation in the country, but that this dissatisfaction was exploited by someone for other purposes.

- The justified protests of people due to the social situation must be absolutely separated from this detail of attacks on the state – Sokolović said, emphasizing once again that the public should have already known who was involved in the processes of attacking the state, who organized the attacks, and who ordered these events.
