(Patria) - Traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning is proceeding under good weather and traffic conditions. Increased traffic intensity is expected during the day, especially in larger urban areas.
We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Pay special attention near schools, due to the increased number of children. Schoolchildren, be careful when crossing the street on your way to school. We also ask other road users to respect traffic regulations.
Due to construction work on a noise barrier on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, traffic is proceeding in the overtaking lane. Works are also underway at two locations on the Jablanica-Prozor main road (Duge and Mirci settlements), then on the Jajce-Crna Rijeka routes, Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), as well as on the bridge near the Crnaja tunnel, on the Konjic-Jablanica main road.
We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje route.
At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are currently short.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
