Rain expected during the day, adjust driving to road conditions

(Patria) - On most roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, traffic is moving on wet or dry asphalt, with good visibility.

During the day, meteorologists have announced rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, so we appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to adjust their driving to the current situation and road conditions. Maintain a safe distance between vehicles and avoid risky overtaking. With rain, the danger of frequent rockfalls onto the road increases, requiring additional attention from drivers. We also ask other road users to respect traffic regulations.

Works are underway on the renovation of the bridge on the Konjic-Jablanica main road sections (near the Crnaja tunnel) and Semizovac-Olovo. Traffic lights have been installed at the work sites, so traffic is regulated by alternating vehicle passage.

Due to construction work on a noise barrier on the Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever section of the A-1 highway, traffic is using the overtaking lane. Works are also ongoing at two locations on the Jablanica-Prozor main road (Duge and Mirci settlements), as well as on the Jajce-Crna Rijeka and Gacko-Foča road sections (in Sastavci).

We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje road.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are currently short.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
