TK to request exemption from the Law on Non-Working Sunday and minimum wage from the FBiH Government

(Patria) - A meeting of mayors, municipal heads and their deputies with the Minister of Trade of Tuzla Canton was held in Tuzla, where it was requested that all municipalities and cities adopt a unified stance and request an exemption from the non-working Sunday, while the new Law on Minimum Wage has also caused problems for numerous employers in small municipalities.

Due to the non-working Sunday, numerous municipalities and cities in Tuzla Canton are suffering huge losses, especially those bordering the RS, such as Gradačac, which also borders the Brčko District.

In Gračanica, businessmen are also suffering significant losses.

One of the conclusions of the meeting is that the Law on Non-Working Sunday and Minimum Wage should be applied at the level of the entire BiH.

A new meeting has also been initiated, where the topic should be the distribution of public revenues of the FBiH Government. Mayors and municipal heads from the TK area believe that the distribution of revenues is highly unequal.
