The fact is that we are witnessing a time when the question "what to do with Tito" is being asked as the greatest son of the peoples and nationalities of these regions, and therefore it is quite clear that we can state that Titoism as a political system composed of communism and socialism is simply kaput! Because, both systems, at the core of their existence, have a cult of personality as a leader that the masses of people idealize to the point where it becomes an unquestionable measure of everything.
So, no Tito, no communism, and no socialism. I don't believe that was the motive for Aleksandar Šapić, Vučić's mayor of Belgrade, to initiate the story about moving Tito out of the capital of Tito's Yugoslavia, but the fact is that he announced it and will very likely move the remains of Josip Broz to Kumrovec.
However, for what Serbia has long since cleared up and for what it has more or less neutralized in blood from the collective memory of the peoples and nationalities of the former SFRY, customers have appeared in Sarajevo. The complex of Belgrade in this part of the Yugoslav constellation is an old ailment that caused those we saw as kings to leave the bazaar, only to be beggars on some periphery in that Belgrade, but happy because they were in Belgrade. This does not change even today.
Just as the fact that in the triangle from Bentbaša to Marindvor and Vratnik the spirit of brotherhood and unity, Slavdom, and communism still lives today does not change. And in that spirit, there is still a lingering need to prove that what bound the peoples of these regions into some common state structures has survived. So to speak, everyone has their own "mini Schengen" or "Open Balkan", only the conditions for its establishment and functioning are different. But, likewise, all who dream of it, I am quite sure, are convinced that it will never come true.
And therefore, the publication of a message of the following content is not surprising: "If, Mr. Šapić, you truly intend to implement your idea of pushing Belgrade even deeper into nationalist fantasies according to your ideology, the remains of Josip Broz Tito will not remain without a home. There is an anti-fascist city that prides itself on the legacy of the Partisans and one of the greatest anti-fascist movements in Europe during World War II, but also on its anti-fascist resistance to sick ideologies in the recent past, and which will proudly take over Tito's legacy and care for it as it should, and that is Sarajevo. There will always be a place for Tito's legacy, the Partisans, and the anti-fascist struggle in Sarajevo, which is also confirmed by the fact that our central street is named after Tito, because Sarajevo has no reason to be ashamed of its past.
Greetings from Titova to Belgrade".
How did the mere mention of Tito drive Nihad Uk to Titoize and, on behalf of all of us who did not vote for him, clearly say "welcome, comrade Tito". Or, more precisely, "welcome, the late Tito". And why we need Tito and who asked Uk to get us the remains of Josip Broz is difficult to answer sensibly. If we are talking about anti-fascism, then the traditionally uninformed Uk should know that his idol, shortly after the victory over fascism, united the Partisans and the Chetniks. And these anti-fascists, as products of the schools of Broz and Čiča Draža, have become so intertwined around common ideas over five decades that they were ready to wipe Vukovar, Srebrenica, Foča, Prijedor off the face of the earth, surround Sarajevo, Bihać, destroy, burn, and kill everything that was called different and that resembled anti-fascism.
But, behind Uk, here comes the ignorant one who deals with conceptual sales of hot air. He answers to the name Damir Nikšić, we pay him well to draft laws for us, but instead, he drafts and redrafts on TikTok. Thus, inspired by Uk, Nikšić conceptually offers the story that we are eternal fascists along with Mayor Karić because we have King Tvrtko Kotromanić and do not have a monument to ZAVNOBiH. Because, according to the conceptual Nikšić, Tvrtko opposes ZAVNOBiH, even though five and a half centuries passed between Kotromanić and the anti-fascists in Mrkonjić Grad.
But, here Nikšić, a Našista, thinks that the fact that we have a monument to a king means we are counter-revolutionaries and monarchists, and that having a monument to ZAVNOBiH would mean we are revolutionary republicans. What he says, records it, and publishes it publicly, and doesn't sink into the ground from shame, is not entirely clear to me. That Nikšić should know that the Našista slogan "Europe is ours" cannot and absolutely does not go with the basic postulates of ZAVNOBiH, because their foundations, although based on anti-fascism, are still so different that they are in complete collision. At the same time, someone should explain to Nikšić that ZAVNOBiH meant the restoration of BiH's statehood, which Tvrtko Kotromanić had made the largest regional and one of the largest and richest European states five and a half centuries earlier.
And if someone manages to explain all that to Nikšić, then they should gather the Našistas in one place, primarily Uk, Nikšić, Dragan Mioković, their president Sabina Ćudić, and president Edin Forta, and explain to them that the fact that Mioković had not heard a Muslim greeting until '91 does not mean that Muslims did not live here, but that they were forbidden to greet each other that way. The Muslims of the new Yugoslavia were processed to such an extent that their role in the National Liberation War was reduced to that of stable hands and the like.
And finally, let them understand that everything bad that can be found mentioned in this text is a consequence of the policies of that late man whom they would bring to Sarajevo, even though they didn't ask anyone in Sarajevo.
Therefore, let them know - TITO CANNOT COME TO SARAJEVO. He cannot come because of Pozderac, because of Džemal Bijedić, he cannot come because of all the Podrinje people who paid with their lives for Tito's tying of Chetnik and Partisan flags, he cannot come because of the lilies that Titoists with washed-out brains shot at, and he cannot come because whoever is bothered by "peace be with you" is eternally declared war upon in the city of peace! And the price of that peace is enormous. Enormous and paid for!
