Tinjić: I want to reach the semi-finals in China

After a great performance at the ITF tournament in Helsingborg, which she also won, our top female tennis player Jasmina Tinjić traveled to China, specifically Quanzhou. The prize money for the tournament in Quanzhou is $50,000, and Tinjić will begin her participation against local player Ran Tian, who is 818th on the WTA list.

- After Helsingborg, where I gained confidence, a tournament in China now follows, which is much stronger and more serious in terms of ranking. I came to Shanghai to make the best possible impression and prove to myself, and to others, how much I can do. I believe in myself and I am optimistic. The goal is at least the semi-finals - said Jasmin Tinjić, who will play her match against the Chinese Tian at 04:30 Bosnian time.

- I had great preparations in Sweden and I am ready for the competition that awaits me in China. The time zone change will be a small problem, but I will give my best to represent our country in the best possible way, even in faraway China - these are Tinjić's words.
