Mehmed Baždarević's team wins exhibition match in Sarajevo

Mehmed Baždarević's team won tonight's exhibition match of former BiH national team players, played in Sarajevo's Ramiz Salčin hall.

The aim of the event "I Tirana i Marakana" was to recall the beginnings of the BiH national football team. The money collected from tickets will be paid to the Institute for Special Education and Upbringing of Children "Mjedenica" Sarajevo.

The idea of holding such an event was initiated by the Association of Sports Journalists of FBiH.

The team in blue jerseys featured Almir Tolja, Mehmed Baždarević, Vlatko Glavaš, Mirza Varešanović, Elvir Baljić, Senad Repuh, Enes Demirović, Nermin Šabić, Senad Brkić and Jasmin Hukić, joined by Elvir Bolić. The team coach was Mišo Smajlović.

In white jerseys played Samir Šabanović, Muhamed Konjić, Nudžein Geca, Said Fazlagić, Esmir Džafić, Asim Hrnjić, Vahidin Imamović and Ekrem Bradarić. The team was led from the bench by Fuad Muzurović.

Mehmed Baždarević's team won 3:2. The scorers were Hukić and Glavaš with two goals. For the white team, Džafić and Imamović scored. The match was watched from the stands by legendary Ivica Osim, NAP reports.
