Man from Tešanj steals car in Jablanica, then commits robberies in Konjic and Trnovo

S.R. (born 1978) from Tešanj, residing in Sarajevo, was deprived of liberty by members of the MUP KS on Wednesday on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of aggravated theft, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In the past period, in the area of the municipalities of Trnovo and Konjic, he committed several criminal offenses of aggravated theft in vacation homes, using a passenger motor vehicle of the brand “VW Golf 2”, which he had previously stolen in the area of the municipality of Jablanica.

- The abandoned vehicle in question was found by police officers of the Trnovo Police Station at the location of Bijele Vode, municipality of Trnovo. During a personal search of S.R., part of the stolen items were found and seized. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and S.R. was handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton - stated the MUP KS.

Work continues on clarifying and documenting the criminal activities of the said person.
