Terzić: Ministers are not vetted and can be of any nationality

Political analyst Almir Terzić, an expert on the BiH Election Law and the election process and implementation of election results, gave his opinion on the ambiguities that have emerged in the public after the Government of the Federation of BiH was not confirmed on Thursday, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Due to certain ambiguities: The Central Election Commission of BiH has no authority to determine the nationality of candidates for federal ministers because they are not vetted.

Those who declared their nationality in the General Elections, if they were candidates of one nationality, can change it without problems for the executive branch, and that is their shame and abuse.

In my opinion, it would be better to write about how some who insist on constitutionality and legality agreed to the Government of the FBiH being unconstitutional by retaining two departments - the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture and Sports, which were declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of FBiH back in late 2010.

Isn't that a bigger problem - violating the decisions of the Constitutional Court of FBiH, says Terzić. 

Milan Dunović, Vice President of the Federation of BiH, withdrew his consent to the Decision on the appointment of the Government of the Federation of BiH, thus blocking the entire process. 

Now, the agreement of the leaders of SDA, HDZBIH, and DF is awaited to clarify the stalemate, because the candidates for ministers did not declare their national affiliation before their appointment, and it turned out that there was an excess of Serbs.
