Bosnia and Herzegovina tennis team to face Japan for place in World Group

LONDON, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina tennis team will play against Japan in the Davis Cup World Group play-offs.

The draw was held today in London at the headquarters of the International Tennis Federation.

The matches will be played from 14 to 16 September, with Japan as the host.

We remind that our team achieved the greatest success in the history of Bosnian tennis last weekend with a victory against Slovakia in Bratislava.

If our selection gets past Japan, they will enter the World Group, i.e. the first league of world tennis, among the 16 best national teams in the world.

Play-off pairings:

Argentina – Colombia
Great Britain – Uzbekistan
Australia – Austria
Switzerland – Sweden
Serbia – India
Japan – Bosnia and Herzegovina
Czech Republic – Hungary
Canada – Netherlands
