Telemach organizes a gathering of children and parents at BBI

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, global statistics show that the prevalence of autism has been increasing by an average of 10-17% annually in recent years. One in 88 children is on the autism spectrum, indicating a tenfold increase in the frequency of this condition in the last 40 years.

According to Aida Šahmanović, president of the Association "Autism in BiH", there are no official statistics on the number of autistic children in BiH.

On the occasion of April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, the company Telemach is organizing a gathering for children from the Association Autism in BiH, the EDUS Association, and the URDAS Association, which bring together parents and children on the autism spectrum.

In Telemach's newly equipped showroom at the BBI Center, children will be able to take advantage of high-speed internet with the latest technology, download their favorite applications and games from the network. During the gathering, children will have the opportunity to show what they like to use on the internet and surf at high speeds.

Internet use helps individuals with autism by providing opportunities for online communities and remote work, and helps them integrate into society. Therefore, it is already a common practice worldwide for IT companies to develop software for children with autism that helps them in their daily lives. Thus, Telemach's goal is to help children in their daily communication and socialization by using the latest technologies.

In addition to gifts for the children from all associations, Telemach has also prepared a special free 24-month Trio GRANDE FAMILY subscription package for the Association Autism in BiH, which will be available to them in the coming period. Telemach is an active member of the Coalition of Marginalized Groups KOMA, along with the aforementioned associations.

The gathering of children and parents is on Friday at 2 PM.
