(Patria) - Young Bosnian-Herzegovinian tennis player Tea Kovačević continues to impress – the 15-year-old hope of our tennis has qualified for the final of the ITF tournament in India (W15).
After defeating Dane Elena Jamshidi in the quarterfinals, Kovačević confirmed her great form this morning in the semi-finals, where after a great fight she defeated Kazakhstan's Zhibe Kulambayeva, currently the 442nd tennis player in the world.
She achieved victory after a comeback against an opponent 11 years her senior. Kovačević won the first set 7:5, but Kulambayeva retaliated in the second set through a tie-break (7:6).
The decisive third set also brought great uncertainty and another tie-break, in which the young BH tennis player was calmer and more successful this time.
Kovačević will fight for the title against the winner of the match Nepliy – Desai.
