Tarik Prusac handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Tarik Prusac, suspected of the aggravated murder of a female, has been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton. He is being held for 24 hours, and within this legal period, the prosecutor in charge will question him and make a prosecutorial decision.

Prusac is suspected of coming to the apartment of the 41-year-old woman in Dobrinja yesterday evening.

When she left the apartment, the suspect attacked her, threatened her with a pistol, and then started hitting her. He then tied her up with adhesive tape, after which he left the apartment with the child.

The victim, in order to save the child, ran after them into the building's stairwell, after which Prusac fired one shot into her stomach, killing her at the scene.

He fled by car, which he abandoned at Dariva, and then headed towards a catering facility in Baščaršija, where he was arrested.

The suspect was under a restraining order.
