Tahirović: I guess coffee is more important than a national team match!

The BiH handball team defeated Iceland 33:32 in the "Mirza Delibašić" hall as part of the playoffs for the World Championship in Qatar. In Skenderija, the favoured Iceland "fell", and the handball Dragons defeated the guests with a magnificent game and on the wings of a well-performing Nikola Prce, writes the Patria News Agency.

The return match is played on June 15 in Reykjavik. Incidentally, it is interesting that the handball players played the match in front of a small audience, and they were coming back from a four-goal deficit.

The surprisingly small number of spectators surprised many, and a little earlier Enid Tahirović, a former national team goalkeeper, wrote on his Facebook profile that he was pessimistic.

-          A bit pessimistic regarding the number of spectators at the match. I guess coffee is more important than a national team match here – wrote Enid, and his predictions came true.

Nevertheless, Dragan Marković's chosen players provided the audience that came to Skenderija with an unforgettable spectacle and patriotism. Many could learn tonight how to play for the jersey with the BiH coat of arms.
