Tahirović told Financial Times: BiH was established as an international armed conflict

(Patria) - The president of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, Murat Tahirović, reacted today to the writing of the London Financial Times, whose author Andrew Bounds, in his article dedicated to BiH, described the war in our country as civil.

"It is regrettable that such a reputable media house as the Financial Times makes a qualification of the war in BiH without first informing itself about the official legal qualification issued by international courts.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY/IRMCT) has established beyond a reasonable doubt through nine judgments that there was an international armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which Serbia and Croatia played a major role.
