
(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's top swimmer Lana Pudar competed this morning at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, managing to secure a place in the semifinals of the 200-meter butterfly event.
Pudar competed in the third qualifying heat for this discipline, finishing third and earning a spot in the semifinals.
Our swimmer recorded a time of 2:11.05, placing eighth fastest overall in the qualifications, from which sixteen competitors advanced to the semifinals.
The semifinal races are scheduled for this evening at 18:16, with the final set for Thursday at 17:02.
The 200-meter butterfly is the only event in which Pudar will compete at the current World Championships, as she was previously forced to withdraw from the 100-meter butterfly due to a shoulder injury.
