Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife Silvia broke the official protocol during their visit to France, Paris, and went to the suburb of Saint Germain en Laye, which is the headquarters of football first league club PSG, and briefly visited Zlatan Ibrahimović. They were accompanied by the French Minister of Sports, Patrick Kanner, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
Besides Ibra, the royal couple was welcomed by club officials. First, President Nasser al-Khelaifi, then General Director Jean-Claude Blanc. After posing for photographers, the delegation visited the Champions Club, where Christina Le Gal, Director of the PSG Foundation, presented the initiatives her structure has undertaken in activities dedicated to sick children with social and learning difficulties.
After a one-hour visit, the Swedish rulers headed to the Élysée Palace for a state dinner organized in their honor by French President François Hollande.
Zlatan Ibrahimović, although invited, did not attend the dinner.
