Priests, monks and nuns congratulated Easter to Cardinal Puljić

On the eve of the Catholic holiday of Easter, congratulations were extended to Cardinal Vinko Puljić today at the premises of the Vrhbosna Archbishopric. Bishops, priests, monks and nuns living and working in Sarajevo came to congratulate him, joined by the Apostolic Nuncio to BiH, Monsignor Luigi Pezzuto, as well as numerous other guests, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Cardinal Puljić thanked everyone, stating that such a gathering is a beautiful and cherished opportunity to experience the joy of Easter. 

- This is an opportunity to express my sincere thanks to you, and through you to all priests, monks and nuns, for all your faithful love with which you have burned yourselves on this 'God's field'. May God, who sees in secret, be your reward in eternity - said Cardinal Puljić.

Reminding everyone of the intensive preparations for the arrival of the Holy Father in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cardinal Puljić invited everyone to truly contribute through prayer and cooperation so that the pastoral visit of Pope Francis brings abundant blessings to the Catholic Church and all people in BiH.
