All pilgrims from BiH will travel to Saudi Arabia by May 21

(Patria) - The first group of 172 pilgrims from Bosnia and Herzegovina departed for Saudi Arabia today from Sarajevo International Airport.

Earlier this morning, a farewell ceremony was organized for the pilgrims at the King Fahd Mosque, where guides from the Hajj and Umrah Office of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina distributed visas and necessary accreditations.

Every moment of the pilgrims' stay in Saudi Arabia is meticulously planned, and the Hajj and Umrah Office hopes everything will proceed as planned.

– It is very important for everyone to be patient and disciplined. Any potential difficulties will be resolved as they arise, and I hope this journey will be successful and without major problems, as has been the case in previous years. Everything has been done to ensure this – said the Deputy Reis-ul-ulema, Prof. Dr. Enes-ef. Ljevaković, during the pilgrims' farewell.

In order to facilitate the performance of Hajj for future pilgrims, the Hajj and Umrah Office has this year provided a mobile application for all pilgrims, aiming to inform and coordinate their stay in Mecca and Medina.

Each pilgrim has installed the application, through which they will have access to all information about Hajj: about rituals, about the geography of Hajj, prayers to be recited, and so on.

In addition, the application allows guides to easily locate any pilgrim from their group if they get lost or fall behind.

This year, 5 GB of internet has been provided for all pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. As soon as they land at Jeddah airport, they will have internet access and the application will be available, enabling communication with their guide.

The next group of pilgrims will fly to Saudi Arabia tonight at 9:20 PM, and it is planned that all pilgrims will depart by May 21 with two flights per day, departing at 10:05 AM and 9:20 PM.

An exception will be May 19, when three flights will be organized, departing at 10:05 AM, 4:30 PM, and 9:20 PM.
