(Patria) - Enisa Ademović from the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo has published an interesting analysis that she made public.
A comparison of recorded COVID 19 cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 29, 2020, with predictions on mathematical models.
“As of March 29, the total number of recorded COVID 19 cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 323. If we look at the graphs below, we will see that this indicates an exponential growth that predicted this number of cases, 323. According to the current trend, the number of cases doubles every 4.44±0.29 days. On graph 3, it can be seen that in China, this parameter extended to 10 days in the later periods of the epidemic.

Goran Čerkez, Assistant Minister of Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, commented on these graphs.
“It is very clearly visible that the number of infected people doubles every 4.4 days. If we respect the measures, we could feel the results in 15 days. Sanitizing clusters or outbreaks is very important. Further depends on the implementation of the adopted measures,” Čerkez wrote.
