Meeting of Western Balkan leaders in Sarajevo tomorrow

(Patria) - Connecting economies for stronger growth is the focus of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which starts tomorrow in Sarajevo. Given that regional cooperation is key to economic progress and stability of the region, the capital of our country will, on this occasion, host the leaders of the Western Balkan countries.

On Wednesday, key topics for the region will be discussed by the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev. Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented in this part of the program by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić.

In addition to the results achieved so far, existing challenges, and plans for the upcoming period, the leaders of the Western Balkan countries will also engage in a discussion on numerous economic and political topics of importance for the entire region. The meeting will be followed by an interactive panel, i.e., presentations by ministers on the investment potential of each of these countries. Through questions and answers, an informal discussion with all present will be enabled, which will provide the foreign audience with a more complete understanding of the entire Western Balkan region.
