Šuhret Fazlić, director of the FBiH Privatization Agency, has resigned because he does not want to participate in shady dealings related to the company Intera d.o.o., founded by the FBiH Government led by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, the bh. news agency Patria has learned.
Intera will manage state-owned real estate outside of BiH, non-perspective military assets, a large number of business premises in FBiH, and experts warn that it was founded illegally, leading to legal uncertainty and parallelism.
Suvad Osmanagić, advisor to Prime Minister Novalić, who has a series of criminal charges and violations against him, the latest of which is with the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office for negligent work in office, will be appointed head of the new government company.
Fazlić provided a justification for his resignation, stating that he considers the decision to establish Intera to be illegal.
- It will further slow down the process of returning assets from the passive balance sheet to FBiH ownership. Bearing this in mind, as well as my own responsibility in managing the Agency and implementing the decisions of the FBiH Government, I am submitting my resignation because, disagreeing with such solutions, I do not want to be an obstacle in the realization of the Government's decisions - it is stated.
