Pennsylvania court allows Musk to give away $1 million to voters

(Patria) - A Pennsylvania judge has ruled that Elon Musk's million-dollar giveaways to voters can continue during the presidential election.

Prosecutors accused Musk of running an illegal lottery and attempting to influence voters in the presidential election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

The controversial billionaire promised to give away $1 million daily to registered voters in swing states who signed his online petition for freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.

The first million dollars was awarded to John Dreher during the campaign in Pennsylvania on October 19.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner called this sweepstakes a scam that violates state election law and sought its termination.

Musk's lawyers stated in court yesterday that the sweepstakes winners were not chosen randomly but were paid as spokespeople for the group.

Musk's lawyer Chris Gober said the last two recipients before the presidential election will be in Arizona on Monday and in Michigan on Tuesday.

- The million-dollar recipients were not chosen randomly. We know exactly who will be announced as the winner of a million dollars today and tomorrow - said Gober.
